Masters Of The Universe: Revelation

Es gibt ein Wie­der­se­hen mit He-Man und den MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, und natür­lich ist mal wie­der Net­flix betei­ligt. Die bewer­fen Nerd-Iko­ne Kevin Smith mit Geld, damit der eine neue Ani­ma­ti­ons­se­rie zum The­ma macht, die das Gan­ze dort wei­ter füh­ren soll, wo es in den 1980ern been­det wur­de. Das soll dann MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION hei­ßen.

Smith wird als Show­run­ner und aus­füh­ren­der Pro­du­zent der Show agie­ren, die als »limi­t­ed series« ange­kün­digt wur­de, also mit hoher Wahr­schein­lich­keit nicht end­los lau­fen wird son­dern nur über eine Staf­fel, viel­leicht zwei. Smith sag­te zum Pro­jekt:

Die Ani­ma­ti­on machen Power­house Ani­ma­ti­on (CASTLEVANIA), Mat­tel Tele­vi­si­on pro­du­ziert für die ist Rob David der aus­füh­ren­de Pro­du­zent. Autoren der Serie sind Eric Car­ras­co (Super­girl), Tim Sher­i­dan (Reign Of The Super­men), Diya Mishra (Magic: The Gathe­ring) und Marc Ber­nar­din (Alphas).

Einen Start­ter­min gibt es noch nicht. Die Serie hat nichts mit dem neu­en Kino­film zu tun, der nach zahl­lo­sen Pro­ble­men 2021 end­lich in die Kinos kom­men soll.
