Die Primetime Emmy Awards 2013

Ges­tern wur­de nicht nur in Deutsch­land gewählt (brei­ten wir das Män­tel­chen des Ver­ges­sens über das Desas­ter), son­dern auch in den USA die Prime­time Emmy Awards ver­ge­ben. Im  Nokia Theat­re traf sich, was im TV Rang und Namen hat.

Gleich vor­ne­weg: das Gen­re fand statt, wenn auch nicht zahl­reich. Allen vor­an gra­tu­liert man gern Jim Par­sons für sei­ne Dar­stel­lung des Dok­tor Shel­don Coo­per in der Epi­so­de THE HABITATION CONFIGURATION der Serie THE BIG BANG THEORY. Dann gab es noch einen der Prei­se für einen her­aus­ra­gen­den Neben­dar­stel­ler für James Crom­well und sei­ne Dar­stel­lung der Rol­le des Dr. Arthur Arden in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM.

Bemer­kens­wert ist noch, dass dass es zum ers­ten Mal in der Geschich­te des Prei­ses Nomi­nie­run­gen für Webse­ri­en gab. Net­flix erhielt für sei­ne drei Seri­en ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, HEMLOCK GROVE und HOUSE OF CARDS ins­ge­samt 14 Nomi­nie­run­gen und schrieb dann mit drei Gewin­nen auch gleich Geschich­te, dar­un­ter David Fin­chers Regie beim Pilot­film CHAPTER 1 von HOUSE OF CARDS.
