Ges­tern wur­den sie im Rah­men des SF-Award-Weekends in Se­at­tle ver­lie­hen, die 2011er Aus­zeich­nun­gen des Locus-Magazins. Wie­der und nicht ganz un­er­war­tet fin­det man Chna Mié­ville un­ter den Preis­trä­gern, der den Preis für KRA­KEN als bes­ter Fan­tasy­ro­man er­hielt. Den Preis in der Sparte »Ro­mane für Her­an­wach­sende« ging an Paolo Ba­ci­ga­lupi für SHIP BREA­KER. Die Aus­zeich­nung für das beste Erst­lings­werk ging an N.K. Je­misins THE HUND­RED THOUSAND KING­DOMS.
