Die Gewinner der BAFTA Awards 2019

 

Ges­tern wur­den in der alt­ehr­wür­di­gen Roy­al Albert Hall in Lon­don die 72. bri­ti­schen Film­prei­se, die BAFTA Awards, ver­ge­ben (BAFTA ist eine Abkür­zung von »Bri­tish Aca­de­my Of Film And Tele­vi­si­on Arts«). Die gel­ten wie immer als Hin­weis auf mög­li­che Gewin­ner bei den Oscars in zwei Wochen.

Nicht ganz über­ra­schend ist der gro­ße Gewin­ner Alfon­so Cuaróns ROMA. Das ist inter­es­san­ter­wei­se gar kein Kino­film, er wur­de für den Strea­ming­dienst Net­flix pro­du­ziert. Ein wei­te­rer Hin­weis, dass Strea­ming längst sei­nen Platz in der  Film­welt erobert hat, auch wenn eini­ge Kino­be­sit­zer und Ver­lei­her das immer noch nicht begrif­fen zu haben schei­nen und das Spie­len von Net­flix-Pro­duk­tio­nen in den Licht­spiel­häu­sern mit Hin­weis auf das Erst­ver­wer­tungs­fens­ter ver­wei­gern.

Das Gen­re ist nur spar­sam ver­tre­ten: Der bes­te Ani­ma­ti­ons­film geht an SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE und BLACK PANTHER erhielt eine Aus­zeich­nung für visu­el­le Effek­te.
