World Fantasy Awards 2009 vergeben

Am letz­ten Wochen­en­de fand in San Jose (Kali­for­ni­en) die World Fan­ta­sy Con­ven­ti­on statt, dort wur­den die World Fan­ta­sy Awards 2009 ver­lie­hen.

Für ihr Lebens­werk wur­den Ellen Asher und Jane Yolen aus­ge­zeich­net, der Preis für den bes­ten Roman wur­de zwei­mal ver­ge­ben und ging an Jef­frey Ford für THE SHADOW YEAR (Mor­row) und Mar­go Lana­gan für TENDER MORSELS (Allen & Unwin; Knopf). Bei den Antho­lo­gien gewann PAPER CITIES: AN ANTHOLOGY OF URBAN FANTASY, her­aus­ge­ge­ben von Eka­te­ri­na Sedia (Sen­ses Five Press).
