Manch ein Fan­ta­sy-Freund wird sich noch an die DIE­BES­WELT-Rei­he erin­nern. Kon­zi­piert vom US-Autor Robert Lynn Asprin und sei­ner Frau Lynn Abbey steu­er­ten in den 1980ern und 90ern diver­se bekann­te Autoren Sto­ries für die Antho­lo­gien der Rei­he bei. Dar­un­ter war auch Janet Mor­ris, die den Cha­rak­ter Tem­pus erfand, einen Unsterb­li­chen.

Für die Anhän­ger der Serie gibt es nun wie­der Lese­stoff, zumin­dest wenn man einen Kind­le sein Eigen nennt. Heu­te erhält man auf Ama­zon den Tem­pus-Roman BEYOND SANCTUARY – und das kos­ten­los. Bei dem Roman han­delt es sich um eine Neu­auf­la­ge der Print­fas­sung, die war der ers­te voll­stän­di­ge Roman der Serie, statt eine Samm­lung von Ein­zel­ge­schich­ten.

Es han­delt sich bei die­ser Fas­sung um etwas, das man als »Author’s Cut« bezeich­nen könn­te. Im Ver­gleich zum Ori­gi­nal­ro­man hat Janet Mor­ris die­se Ver­si­on über­ar­bei­tet, erwei­tert und mit neu­em Mate­ri­al ver­se­hen. Auch wei­te­re Bücher der Rei­he sind bereits ange­kün­digt.
