Die Oscar-Nominierungen 2016

Ja, es ist alles Schein und Gla­mour und alte, wei­ße Män­ner ent­schei­den über Fil­me. Trotz­dem zei­gen die Oscar-Ver­lei­hun­gen in jedem Jahr, was man in den USA kann, und was deut­schen Seri­en und Fil­men so abgeht: Gro­ße Unter­hal­tung und eben Glamour.

Nicht ganz uner­war­tet gin­gen die meis­ten Nomi­nie­run­gen an das Wild West-Dra­ma THE REVENANT mit Leo diCa­prio in der Haupt­rol­le, das gleich zwölf mal nomi­niert wur­de. Gleich dahin­ter MAD MAX: FURY ROAD mit zehn Nomi­nie­run­gen. Das freut mich natür­lich ins­be­son­de­re des­we­gen, weil es sich um einen Gen­re-Film han­delt, näm­lich post­apo­ka­lyp­ti­sche SF. Auch DER MARSIANER ist mit sie­ben Nen­nun­gen gut im Ren­nen, und selbst­ver­ständ­lich wur­de auch THE FORCE AWAKENS nomi­niert und ange­sichts der con­ge­nia­len prak­ti­schen Effek­te im Film, wür­de ich erwar­ten, dass zumin­dest der Effek­te-Oscar an die sieb­te Epi­so­de der STAR WARS-Rei­he gehen könnte.

Die Ver­lei­hun­gen fin­den Ende Febru­ar statt, mode­rie­ren wird Chris Rock.
