Am ver­gan­ge­nen Wo­chen­ende wur­den im Rah­men des all­jähr­li­chen Sci­ence Fic­tion Awards Wee­kends die LO­CUS Awards 2010 ver­ge­ben. Das SF-Magazin LO­CUS lobt die­sen Preis seit dem Jahr 1971 aus.

Auch bei die­ser Ver­lei­hung ist China Mié­ville mit THE CITY & THE CITY wie schon beim Ar­thur C. Clarke Award ver­tre­ten.
