PLANET DER AFFEN Prequel

Es gab Ge­rüchte, dass FOX da­mit be­fasst sei, ei­nen wei­te­ren PLA­NET OF THE APES–Film zu pro­du­zie­ren. Auf dem FOX Mo­vie Chan­nel lief am letz­ten Wo­chen­ende ein APES-Marathon und da hat of­fen­bar Tom Roth­man von 20th Cen­tury Fox kon­kret et­was zu die­sem Thema ge­sagt, als Re­ak­tion auf die Ge­rüchte bei Chud’s. Es ist de­fi­ni­tiv ein neuer Film in Ar­beit, al­ler­dings ein Vor­gän­ger, der die Ge­schichte er­zählt, die zum ers­ten PLA­NET DER AF­FEN ge­führt hat. Roth­man sagte: »We are very close at Fox on a new Apes script — this one a kind of pre­quel story be­fore the first story, with a re­turn to the so­cial the­ma­tics that mark the first one, but with an ent­i­rely con­tem­porary set­ting — Earth 2009,«
